La Piautre Single Malt is a single cask whisky bottled at a robust 52.3% ABV. As a single malt, it is made from malted barley at one distillery, while the single-cask format means the character can be more individual from barrel to barrel.

This release was matured in a Cognac cask, a type of oak vessel that can bring extra fruit, sweetness, and oak influence alongside the spirit's malt character. At this strength, it may show added intensity and can reward a little water to soften the alcohol and open up the aromas.
