Kaikyō Distillery is a Japanese distillery in Akashi, Hyōgo Prefecture. Kimio Yonezawa founded it in 2017 as an expansion of Akashi Sake Brewery. It makes and matures spirits for brands including Hatozaki whisky and 135° East gin.
Some Hatozaki blends use selected malt whiskies from outside Japan. A Hatozaki release must not be attributed to Kaikyō as its source distiller unless the product evidence supports that relationship.
