Julian Van Winkle III

Julian Van Winkle III is an American whiskey producer and bottler associated with the Van Winkle family, whose name has long been linked with Kentucky bourbon. He continued the family’s role in the whiskey business after the end of the original Stitzel-Weller era and became the figure most closely associated with the modern Van Winkle line.

Today he is best known for the highly sought-after Van Winkle bourbons and rye whiskeys, including releases marketed under the Old Rip Van Winkle and Pappy Van Winkle names. These bottlings have become some of the most prominent and collectible names in American whiskey.
