Oban Distiller's Edition is a Highland single malt whisky from the coastal distillery at Oban. Distiller's Edition releases are known for an extra maturation in a secondary cask, and this 2024 release highlights Fino-seasoned wood to add a drier, more savoury sherry influence.

For a novice drinker, expect the distillery's familiar balance of malt, fruit, gentle maritime character, and light smoke, with the finishing cask bringing added nuttiness and dryness. At 43.0% ABV, it should be approachable while still showing layered character.
