This Speyside single malt was distilled in 2013 and bottled at 10 years old by independent bottler The Single Cask Ltd. at a cask strength of 58.8% ABV. As a single-cask release, it reflects the character of one individual barrel rather than a larger batch.
The quarter cask maturation suggests relatively active wood influence, which can bring a fuller oak presence in a younger whisky. For a novice drinker, expect a concentrated style that may open up well with a little water.
