Old Particular Ledaig is a single malt Scotch whisky from Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled by Douglas Laing as a single cask. Ledaig is the distillery’s peated make, so smoke is a central part of the style.

At 12 years old and bottled from a refill butt at 48.4% ABV, this release is likely to show the distillery character clearly rather than heavy cask influence. For a novice drinker, expect a combination of peat smoke, coastal character, and malt-led depth.
