Yamazakura Peated is a Japanese blended whisky bottled at 46% ABV. For a new drinker, the key idea is that it combines the approachable character of a blend with a noticeable layer of smoky, peated character.

Compared with a non-peated style, expect smoke to play a clearer role in the glass, though not necessarily in an extreme or heavily medicinal way. The 46% strength may also give it a firmer, more full-flavoured impression than lighter, lower-strength blends.
