The AntelopeDailuaine

This is a 30-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Dailuaine, bottled from a single refill hogshead at cask strength. Long maturation and a refill cask usually allow the distillery character to stay more visible, with oak influence adding structure rather than dominating the spirit.

For a novice drinker, expect an older whisky to show more depth and integration than a younger one, while the high ABV can make it feel powerful and concentrated. Adding a little water may help open it up and make its aromas and flavours easier to explore.
