Fadandel Glen Elgin is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled from a single cask at natural cask strength. This 15-year-old expression was distilled in 2011 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, a cask type often associated with vanilla, oak, and bright fruit notes.
Because it is a single cask release, the whisky may show a more individual character than a standard bottling. At 56.6% ABV, it is likely to be full-flavoured and concentrated, and some drinkers may prefer to add a little water to open it up.
