The scene was set - warming ourselves next to an autumn leaf Halloween bonfire with lightly charred grilled lobster rolls seasoned with peppered balsamic mayonnaise. On the palate neat, as dessert, we were served mulled red and black fruit compote combining cinnamon, cloves and plenty of fruity red wine such as Merlot.
