We lit a vanilla and molten amber scented candle before opening the book of ‘Grimm’s Fairy Tales’ to read the story of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. In our basket for grandmother there was crystallised ginger, golden syrup and a sticky malt loaf alongside butterscotch sauce and rosehip syrup.
