A sweet citric aroma of freshly squeezed lemon sprinkled on pancakes covered in sugar and cinnamon was followed by rhubarb and ginger syllabub and the fresh scent of slices of juicy pear. The taste neat had plenty of chilli heat at the beginning but then offered a balance of zesty orange marzipan and juicy fruit flavoured wine gums.
