Inviting aromas of toasted cereals and sweet biscuits captured our attention before sticky syrup oozed over cinnamon popcorn and quince jelly. Wasabi heat on the palate became thick and viscous as butterscotch and maple syrup joined Turkish delight and liquorice with peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
