The nose is deeply compelling and as balanced as a ball on a bicycle – lovely rich fruit cake with marzipan and cherries, and orchard fruits in a polished wooden bowl. The palate has a delightfully thick and creamy body – peanut butter, honey and almond tuiles; pears and pineapple extravagantly bathed in creamy vanilla custard.
