Highland, Western Apples, pears and tropical fruits arrived with a textured coating of beeswax and nut oil before cinnamon spice, dried apricots and singed raisins suggested the presence of Barbados rum. In contrast the palate was abundant with herbs, cloves and red liquorice, giving an almost cough syrup stickiness with hints of blackcurrant jelly.
