Early herbal suggestions vanished from the nose, leaving ginger biscuits, salted caramel, chocolate éclairs, dark chocolate with orange and hints of tobacco, leather handbags and antique polished wood. The palate had wood and spice – we got tree bark and toasted oak, cinnamon toast and chilli chocolate, brown sugar and sherbet straws – pleasantly lively at natural strength.
