The scent combines the subtlety of age with the freshness of youth, beautifully balanced fresh fragrant floral sweet violets and jasmine next to musty, earthy, a little tar and leather aromas. The taste neat was equally balanced revealing a complexity but at the same time a fruitiness (William-Christ pear brandy), subtlety and warmth – like mixed wild mushroom pasta made with olive oil and garlic topped with shaved black truffles.
