A heavy waft of fine ladies perfume and scented hand cream instilled a sense of opulence as we sipped on camomile tea with honey. Vibrant geranium and fuchsia flowers mingled with rose flavoured icing on a thick wedge of marzipan whilst juniper berries and elderflower suggested the arrival of fruity gin cocktails.
