The aroma of sun-ripened apples, golden raisins and black cherries intermingled with the scent of marzipan and liqurice. On the palate we took a sip from a green stemmed wine glass drinking Federweisser, ‘feather- white’, basically alcoholic grape juice on sale in all wine growing regions in Germany at special wine festivals celebrating the end of harvest.
