The neat nose suggested to us 80 shilling ales infused with cocoa nibs, very gentle background peat smoke and lovely notes of candied citrus fruits, floral smoke and menthol vibes. When we added water we found pollens, lightly smoked apples, smouldering leaves and roasted pistachios.
