Nelson's Green Brier Distillery

Nelson's Green Brier Distillery is a historic distillery located in Nashville, Tennessee. It was established in 1860 by Charles Nelson, a German immigrant. The distillery quickly gained popularity and became one of the largest producers of Tennessee whiskey in the late 19th century. However, due to the Prohibition era, the distillery was forced to shut down in 1909. It remained dormant for over a century until it was revived by Charles Nelson's great-great-great grandsons, Andy and Charlie Nelson, in 2006.
