Ichiro's Malt

Ichiro's Malt is a Japanese whisky brand created by Ichiro Akuto, whose family had long been involved in sake and spirits production in Saitama Prefecture. It became widely known after Akuto helped preserve remaining whisky stocks from the closed Hanyu Distillery, bottlings that later gained an international following.

Today, Ichiro's Malt is closely associated with Chichibu Distillery in Japan and is known for a range that includes both Chichibu-made whiskies and other Japanese world blended releases. The brand is especially recognized among enthusiasts for limited editions and for its role in the modern rise of Japanese whisky.
