Number One Drinks was founded in August 2006 to import and distribute Japanese whisky across Europe and beyond. It came to hold exclusive worldwide rights to Chichibu, Hanyu and Karuizawa whisky, and from 2006 sold single-cask Karuizawa, each bottling drawn from one cask.
