Yamazaki, established in 1923, is Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery, located in Kyoto. Founded by Shinjiro Torii, the distillery was inspired by the traditional Scottish whisky-making process but aimed to create a uniquely Japanese spirit. Over the decades, Yamazaki has grown to become a symbol of Japanese whisky, earning international acclaim and numerous awards for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

Yamazaki is renowned for its meticulous approach to whisky production, utilizing a variety of cask types, including American, Spanish, and Japanese oak, to create complex and multi-layered flavors. The distillery produces a range of styles, from the delicate and floral Yamazaki 12 Year Old to the rich and full-bodied Yamazaki 18 Year Old. The unique climate and pure water of the region contribute to the distinctive character of Yamazaki whiskies, making them highly sought after by connoisseurs around the world.
