After five years in ex-bourbon wood this served further time in a high-security Spanish oak oloroso hoggie and got well and truly sherry-maxed. The result is a powerful dram that took some of us down a cinematic rabbit hole: a Hollywood crime scene, with a filling station forecourt, and bad guys dressed in leather lighting cigars and throwing firecrackers.
