The nose conveyed lots of fruity garden vibes: collecting windfall apples, picking brambles in the sun, rosemary, verbena and fruits in a wooden bowl. The palate lingered over old-school fruit-flavoured boiled sweets, Edinburgh rock and lemon drizzle cake, before a warming finish of stem ginger, hot cross buns and cardamom.
