The nose delighted us with lashings of limoncello, sherbet and verbena, plentiful pear drops, green apples in a basket and musty-dusty hay barns. Unsurprisingly, we found cloudy lemonade, lemon barley sugars and orange zest on the palate, along with the spritzy, punchy, lively fizz of a vintage champagne bellini, followed by ginger beer spice and oaky tannins on the finish.
