Mouths watering, the Panel entered a pactisserie, with its enticing aromas of lemon meringue pie, banana bread and honey-glazed apple doughnuts, as well as roasted chestnuts and pecan snowballs. On the palate, we first bit into a warm piece of apple cinnamon tart and honey on buttered crumpets before a grassy, peppery note with the intense citric fruit flavour of grapefruits and lemons appeared.
