The nose brought sweet, dark enticements (Christmas cake, armagnac plum tart, salted caramel) and Hemingway's old-style, wood-panelled tapas bars (smoke, black olives, almonds, membrillo). On the palate we found sherry splashed on a villainous undead pirate's table and delicious sticky sweetness (dark chocolate, cherry cake, sultanas, creme brulee).
