First, we noticed lighter aromas of a paper bag filled with pick 'n' mix and a resinous, sweet, sappy scent before heavier notes of a buttoned leather armchair, pipe tobacco and hot cigar ash appeared. Fruity and floral on the palate, it was nutty, buttery and peppery and we detected traces of ‘old-school’ Highland heft in the form of a fragrant smoke.
