We tweaked the tried-and-true combination of ham and cheese by using gorgonzola dolce, Black Forest ham, caramelised onions and grilled rye bread. It was mouth-watering and lip-smacking, evoking an exotic sausage stuffed with a mixture of cheese, spices, mustard, herbs and plenty of seasonings.
