The scent of heather honey on toast as well as a scoop of apple, smoked pear, walnut and honey ice cream made us all eager to try it. We found sweetness in abundance on the palate yet, at the same time, a surprising amount of smoke which made us think of cinnamon-toasted brioche with a dollop of honeyed ricotta and served with peat-smoked roasted plums.
