The subtly scented nose started with autumn leaves and petrichor, followed by fudge, pain au chocolat, garibaldi biscuits, apricot jam and vanilla custard slices. The palate had immediate innocent charm, but seemed to morph at each sip, going from barley sugars and spangles to gummy chews, spun sugar and rum 'n' raisin ice cream, before finishing up with dark chocolate, red liquorice and balsamic glaze.
