A handful of salt and pepper cashews came wrapped in the contents of a first aid kit, accompanied by warm tar, fennel and thyme, and a serving of vanilla ice cream. The palate was surprisingly sweet yet echoed the story our noses told while adding a platter of popcorn and blueberry pancakes.
