We nosed a warm franzbrötchen laden with cherry jam, crushed blackcurrants, lemon zest and rhubarb crumble. The palate was equally rich, unveiling nutmeg-spiced strawberry syrup, liquorice and raspberry liqueur, lime and wood resin.
