Aromas exceeded expectations as burnt honeycomb, marzipan and hazelnuts merged with raisins, marmalade and treacle on rustic granary bread topped with salted peanuts. A wave of ginger and chillies on the palate sweetened to toffee, fudge and vanilla ice cream with hints of milk chocolate, cola flavoured sweets and polished pine wood.
