The nose gave us lightly perfumed Marseille soap, laundry and shaved wood; we also found honeycomb, hay, lemon meringues, jellybeans and apricot danish pastries. The complex palate combined cinder toffee and raspberry or cherry jam with lemon peel; then liquorice allsorts and pretzel sticks, before we chewed green twigs dipped in honey to finish.
