We unwrapped an apple and cherry pie from cotton candy, finding it dusted with freeze-dried honey, bits of eucalyptus bubblegum and sugared almonds. The palate, very much like the nose on first sip, developed to incorporate fennel seeds, coconut custard and papaya muddled with gooseberries.
