A gentle, sweet aroma with delicate hints of char and the faint glow of wood smoke made this an enticing offering. On the palate we found a spoonful of medlar jelly on buttered toast and a steaming mug of mulled wine made with orange and lemon juice, cloves, red wine, brandy and a gentle cinnamon spice.
