The aroma ticked all the boxes to make your heart content with smoked kabanos sausages, smoky sweet pickles with strawberries, balsamic-brown butter sauce, shoe polish, cigar boxes and an old coal scuttle in a remote bothy. On the palate we found a rich, aromatic, smooth yet smoky, moreish damson porter beer with a great balance of chocolate, roasted malt and sweet yet tangy damsons.
