Ripe, bright and fresh were the first adjectives mentioned – fresh hay bales, apple orchards, green muscat grapes, elderflower cordial and a gentle whiff of oak, minerality and yeastiness made this a very enjoyable encounter. The taste offered more fruitiness with apples and honeydew melon as well as grapes, now black and red.
