If you’ve been keeping up with Unfiltered, you’ll know that we have two routes to create our Two to One ultra small-batch releases: marrying casks just before bottling, or marrying casks and letting them undergo at least two years of additional maturation. This cask follows the latter method taking two seven-year-old ex-bourbon hogsheads from distillery 72, and marrying them into one larger cask, a first fill Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez butt.
