Emanating from the oven, the perfume of lebkuchen mingled with a moka pot of coffee, red wine and panna cotta topped with cracked black pepper and black cherries. The palate was sweet and woody, evoking pistachio biscuits, while candied mandarin and dark chocolate mingled with parma violets and rosemary.
