90/ 100Outstanding

This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Ledaig, the peated style produced at Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. At 24 years old and bottled from a single refill hogshead at cask strength, it is likely to show a mature, individual character rather than a heavily oak-led one.

An excellent Ledaig with farmy, herbal and medicinal notes, balanced by dark sweetness, oily peat and maritime sharpness.
