88/ 100Very good

This is a 15-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Ben Nevis, bottled by an independent bottler at natural cask strength. It was distilled in 2010 and matured in a refill bourbon cask, a style of ageing that often lets the distillery character show clearly rather than adding heavy oak influence.

A delicious, oily whisky with ripe peach, pineapple and grapefruit, balanced by waxy notes, citrus zest and a pleasant yeasty austerity.
