The nose – mm – sharp, fresh, vibrant and head-clearing – candied lemon, damson liqueur, cassia bark and charred oak. The palate is fruity, herbal and interesting – loadsa lemon (lemonade, lemon curd, verbena) and honey; then burnt twigs and star anise to finish.
