Heady aromas of pineapples, gooseberries and poached pears mixed with further tropical notes of coconut, mango and ripe banana before the sweetness of fudge and rice pudding arrived with pencil shavings. Tropical fruits continued on the palate alongside waxy textures and herbal flavours mixed with the cool warmth of peppermint sweets.
