A humongous beast of a dram on the nose detected immediate smoke; a chocolate factory on fire, smoky bacon crisps and maple syrup on burnt pancakes. The palate had caramelised sugar, over-toasted marshmallows and honey on burnt croissants; liquorice, salted walnuts and throat lozenges to finish.
