A warm, sweet, rich and woody scent filled the room when we poured this sample, next to pipe tobacco, liquorice Allsorts and toasted rye bread with salmon butter. On the palate; rich with a tingling tartness that reminded us of hot cranberry, port and orange sauce over rich meat like goose.
