We found peat smoke, Germolene and garden bonfires, but vanilla ice-cream, white chocolate and blancmange sweetness danced centre-stage. The chewy palate combined toffee, nougat and Nestle Crunch with restrained smoke, followed by spice cake and aniseed warmth - a true harmony of flavours.
